摘要：Bypass valve for use in wellbores, particularly during the setting of hydraulicanchor packers, a bypass valve is provided with a body () incorporating a wall providedwith at least one opening () and a piston () slidably mounted and having a longitudinalbore extending therethrough. The piston () is movable between a first position, in which
the bore of the piston () is substantially isolated from the exterior of the body (), and asecond position in which a passage is provided from the bore of the piston () to theexterior of the body (). Constraining means () prevent movement of the piston () from thefirst to the second position. Overriding means are provided to permit movement to thesecond position.
